Multidisciplinary surgical team training
Delivering the best medical/surgical care is a team sport. The use of multidisciplinary in-hospital teams limits adverse events, improves outcomes, and adds to patient and employee satisfaction. Therefore, our courses often involve all levels of staff on the treatment pyramid including surgeons, aides, nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists, sexologist, anesthesiologists etc.
Flipping the classroom!
The flipped classroom is an important part of our teaching method. You will have access to course content and instructions ahead of the course. This will free up face-to-face time during the course to let you seek clarifications from instructors, collaborate with peers and practice applying concept (hands-on) while getting guidance and feedback directly from experts. This will allow our instructors to actually teach, rather than merely make speeches. You will leave the course with an even greater collection of resources and a clearer awareness of what you need to focus on to close the gaps that remain in your learning.

Furthermore, you learn to perform the most common secondary corrections procedures like meatotomy, commisuroplasty and introitoplasty. We will offer you a combination of lectures, state of the art instructional videos and hands-on cadaver dissection supported by a 3D anatomical model of the pelvic region. This gives you the opportunity to practice your skills and engage your knowledge.Upon completion of the course, you will have gained an understanding of the basic concepts of penile inversion vaginoplasty and the most common secondary procedures.
